The Park County Crisis Center greatly appreciates the caring and kindness of those wishing to support our shelter through donating needed items. Here are a couple of helpful hints to think about before donating:

Call first to make sure we need the item. 303-838-7176

New items are preferred. If you are considering donating a gently used item, make sure the item you are donating is in excellent condition (look at it and think, " Is this in a condition I would be willing to accept myself?" For sanitary reasons and for the respect and dignity of those who are in our shelter, the item should be in good working condition, with no rips, tears, rust or stains and is clean.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Below is a list of items needed for our shelter.

  • Toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, feminine hygiene items, laundry soap, dish soap, sponges

Have an Vehicle to Donate?
The Park County Crisis Center has teamed up with Cars for Colorado, another non-profit organization, who manages this program. Their number is 800-551-9401. They provide free towing and accept most anything with an engine, including: cars, trucks, vans, boats (on a trailer), motorcycles, buses and RV's. Please be sure to designate Park County Crisis Center for your donation. For faster service, please have your title with you before you call or head to this web page.
Have an Old Cell Phone?
As part of our fundraising efforts, we have begun a cell phone donation program. We are now collecting used cell phones and have collaborated with the Shelter Alliance, a National Coalition Against Domestic Violence member program that collects used cell phones and refurbishes them, who will pay us for each cell phone we send them.

Besides the fundraising aspect of this program, collecting cell phones will also allow us to provide 911 phones to clients!

We can accept phones with or without batteries, chargers or accessories. If you have any old cell phones lying around that you would like to get rid of, we will gladly take them. And spread the word to anyone you know who may have a phone to donate.
